Sara LaPorte Haitz, AIA, NCARB

Sara Haitz is an architect specializing in design/build projects in Rhode Island.

Sara directs the design/build process at South County Post & Beam in Kingston, RI, leading clients through the construction process, from sales intake through construction closeout.

Sara previously served as the Design Director and Preconstruction Manager of Red House Design Build in Providence, Rhode Island.

Sara previously worked in New York City and completed the design and build of numerous restaurant conversions and townhouse renovations. As a project architect at Woods Bagot Architects, she led the team for the development of two new mixed-use buildings in Brooklyn, and contributed to the adaptive reuse of two high-rise office buildings into residences. While in New York, Sara was a member of New York Women in Real Estate Development.

Sara graduated from Northeastern University with a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree, and studied in Rome, Italy.

She is registered in RI and NY.
